Alexander Technology Group's is seeking a Core Systems Admin for our client in the Greater Boston area. This is a Full-Time, Hybrid opportunity.

The Work You Will Participate In

Manage

  • Assist in monitoring and maintaining production and test databases of the core banking system, including assisting with installing patches, upgrades and version releases.
  • Oversee third party interfaces with the core banking system such as document archiving, online banking, lending suites, etc.
  • Prepare a variety of written materials for the purpose of documenting activities, providing written reference and/or conveying information.
  • Monitor and maintain various servers both physical and virtual.
  • Design and maintain custom reports and forms.
Support
  • Provide technical and troubleshooting assistance related computer hardware, peripherals, network equipment and application software.
  • Resolve a variety software and hardware related issues.
  • Field internal help desk requests and provide phone and in person advice and guidance for technical issues.
  • Assist with implementation of new software/modules
  • Work flexible hours as needed and participate in on call rotations.
Prepare
  • Communicate problems and recommend resolutions to management to improve ongoing services delivery.
  • Participate in Disaster Recovery testing and preparedness.
  • Collaborate with others to utilize current technology to improve business processes to support new business endeavors.
Skills For Core Systems Admin
  • Experience with Fiserv or any Core Banking Systems
  • A dynamic understanding of network security principles and practices including experience with Oracle, PL/SQL or SQL and exposure to job/batch scheduling software such as Automic. Background in PCI and SOC2 environments a plus.
  • Pride in producing quality work, demonstrable attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent organizational, time management skills; must be adaptable to constant change.
  • An associate degree in a technology field or 5 years of related experience. Experience in financial institution a plus.
