Title: HR Generalist

Classification: Exempt

Reports to: HR Director

Location: Marlton, NJ


SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE


The job of the HR Generalist is to help with the communication and smooth onboarding of new hires and ensure that all systems within the HR department stay up to date. This position will work closely with operations to answer employee relation questions and will coordinate with the rest of the HR team to ensure that all systems continue to run smoothly. The HR Generalist will also help with projects within the HR department as needed.


RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Perform administrative duties, such as maintaining employee database and tending to email that are sent to the HR department
  • Collaborate and act as the main interface between HR and the IS department, software vendors, accounting, and payroll to assure the integrity of the HR systems Serve as point of contact and provide support, corrective action matters, up to and including termination.
  • Assist in creating formal Standard Operating procedures for HR team
  • Review and update end to end corrective action and performance management documents up to and including termination.
  • Escalate defined matters appropriately to ensure notification and consultation requirements.
  • Identify and recommend appropriate process improvements to accomplish effective
  • Ensure smooth communication with employees and timely response and resolution to their questions
  • Conduct prompt and thorough investigation of employee conflict of interest disclosures in accordance with Company standards; professionally document findings and recommendations for appropriate resolution for review by Senior Leadership while maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
  • Assist as needed with health benefit enrollment and eligibility
  • Assist with corporate recruiting efforts including scheduling and/or conducting interviews for various locations in person or via video interview
  • Assist with the completion of all on-boarding paperwork, including all processing of background checks
  • Assist in maintaining all employee files, including processing various forms related to documenting human resources activities such as change-of-status, performance evaluations, terminations, etc. as well as periodic audits of these files


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities


  • Experience with the human resources information system (HRIS) used by your company, such as UKG and ADP
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
  • Mastery of Excel, with an ability to manipulate data and reports as needed
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to create a culture of diversity, inclusivity, collaboration, and teamwork
  • High level of interpersonal and communication skills to handle varying interactions
  • Ability to be self-motivated in order to complete projects or tasks
  • Confidentiality with HR information


QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS


  • Undergraduate required or higher preferred
  • Previous experience in HR or employee relations
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems required - preferably ADP and UKG
