People and Culture Internship

In our program you will have the opportunity to own your own projects, participate in meetings, and work cross-functionally with other departments.

GAF is looking for a People and Culture/Talent Strategy Intern. The ideal candidate for this role is majoring in Human Resources Management, Communications, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or related field The intern would be responsible for an enthusiastic and driven People & Culture intern to assist the Talent Strategy team with the planning and execution of various events and programs to help promote a positive employee experience.

Job Duties:

  • Supports people and culture programs and projects including employee engagement, recognition, training, I&D and survey development and analysis.
  • Researches and recommends best practice approaches to administer and revise programs. Recommends process and program improvements.
  • Assists in developing program sustainment and communication materials, presentations, and project documentation to support program/event administration and implementation.
  • Conducts data analysis and generates reports as needed.
  • Responds to ad-hoc requests and partners with business ensuring alignment with TM&E programs.

Requirements:

Excellent communication skills are all necessary as is the ability to operate in a team. The successful candidate must be actively pursuing a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution, with a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 and an anticipated graduation date between December 2022 and May 2024.

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States, without visa sponsorship now and in the future.

All GAF internship roles are paid at an hourly rate, however, there are no benefits associated with these positions. Candidates are expected to work 37.5 hours per week over the summer. Transportation, F-1 and HB-1 visa sponsorship will not be provided in association with these positions.
