The position of Marketing Content Specialist is responsible for creating engaging content to increase thought leadership, improve social media engagement, and support sales in product/service communications for TransPerfect's Life Sciences Solutions.
The successful Marketing Content Specialist will:
- Act as a key content writer for vertical-specific sales collateral, blog and white paper content, promotional copy, infographics, decks, press releases, etc.
- Stay up-to-date with hot topics to generate new ideas for thought leadership content
- Contribute to digital and traditional marketing strategy and planning discussions
- Maintain and execute the content calendar and provide copy writing support for all marketing communications
- Collaborate with stakeholders to produce and execute content (print and digital)
- Work with design and web teams to create sales collateral, blog and white paper content, promotional copy, infographics, decks, press releases, etc.
- Provide content and maintain social channels (such as LinkedIn) and recommend strategies for engagement
- Assist in email marketing campaigns and quarterly newsletter creation
- Optimize new and existing content according to SEO best practices
- Assist in planning and execution of internal and external events as required.
- Ensure governance of content calendar
- Handle creation of client engagement assets like presentation slides and RFPs
- Assist in coordination, planning, and running of internal and external events (tradeshows, webinars, summits, etc.)
- Identify, update, and maintain content library
- Conduct stakeholder interviews to synthesize and produce client spotlights and testimonials
- Assist in video creation
Required Skills:
- Bachelors degree required with a preference for degrees in PR, Marketing or Communications
- At least 2-3 years of B2B marketing/communications experience
- 2-5 years in a Life Sciences industry such as pharmaceutical, biotech, clinical, or regulatory
- Excellent writing and communication skills are a must
- Expertise in MS Office programs (PowerPoint formatting)
- Experience communicating with all levels of leadership
- Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders and creative teams (web, design, etc.)
- Published business content (PR, articles, blogs, etc.)
- Project management skills and attention to detail
Desired Skills:
- Project management experience for multimedia campaigns
- Basic design in Canva/PPT/Word
- Basic Adobe Suite knowledge
- Basic HTML, CSS, and Javascript knowledge
