Job description

A private equity-owned industrial supplier with projects working mainly within infrastructure, oil and gas pipelines is in search of a 1-3 year analyst with strong modeling and Excel experience. This is a newly-created role and will serve as the direct right-hand to the Finance Director. Youll spend your time focused on traditional FPA activities, building relationships with senior leaders, and developing financial models, with approximately 10% of your attention dedicated towards accounting (i.e. helping accounting to close the books, making adjustments to entries, providing variance analysis, etc.)

This is a high-exposure role for someone at the early stages of their career, and will report into an executive who oversees a number of areas including finance, marketing, asset management and IT youll have the opportunity to get involved in any areas of interest. Please note that this role is operating in a hybrid model, 3-days a week in the office.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Bachelors degree with 1-3 years finance-related experience
• Strong financial modeling and Excel experience, with light accounting knowledge
• Genuine hunger and willingness to learn, and openness to be mentored
