Job description

Responsibilities

  • Support planning, budgeting and forecasting processes through consolidation of divisional and corporate financials (P&L, balance sheet and cash flows).
  • Prepare analytics for budgets, 3-year plans and monthly forecasts, developing insights into working capital, capital spending and other information as necessary.
  • Partner with accounting and divisional finance teams to support monthly dashboard reporting and other ad hoc analysis.
  • Support corporate accounting in the development of monthly accruals, intercompany allocations and annual impairment testing.
  • Forge close relationships with business leaders and departmental heads to become a trusted advisor who provides insights into pricing and cost actions.
  • Track and analyze corporate cost centers, providing analysis of monthly results vs. budget and prior year.
  • Build and maintain complex financial models to support executive evaluation of strategic acquisition opportunities
  • Report on key market influences, including commodity prices, foreign currency movements and interest rate changes.
  • Support the company's investor relations function with relevant financial information.
  • Support the company's incentive compensation program via analytics, tracking and forecasting.
  • Support the company's continuous improvement initiative around automation of financial reporting and related processes.
  • Other ad hoc projects as required by business leaders from time to time.



Job Requirements:

Position Requirements

  • Undergraduate Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business.
  • CPA or MBA a plus
  • Experience in corporate finance in a $1 billion+ industrial/manufacturing company a plus
  • 10-15 years' experience in roles of increasing responsibility
  • Strong accounting, financial consolidation and modeling understanding / experience
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to influence across the organization without having direct supervision
  • Microsoft Office and ERP general ledger experience required.
