We seek to hire an experienced business manager to support the growth of our equity derivatives business. The Senior Vice President role would report directly to the COO of Americas Equities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with management, COO, product, support, and control teams to grow and support Jefferies' equity derivatives business across equity options, structured products, and convertible bonds.
  • Drive product and business development initiatives including New Business Committee reviews.
  • Take ownership in identifying and resolving front-to-back support issues independently. Improve workflows and systems to optimize business operations.
  • Represent the business with support functions including operations, technology, finance, risk, & legal/compliance to further effective operations.
  • Develop business & product strategy, plans & forecasts. Develop & execute plans to optimize financial resource KPIs.
  • Facilitate approval and execution of exceptional or structured transactions.


Qualifications:

  • 10+ yrs. experience in Equities and/or Derivatives business management, product, or support roles.
  • Deep knowledge of equities and derivatives products, trading, and business workflows.
  • Takes initiative & hand-on approach to apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Professional outlook with ability to multi-task and work to deadlines and targets.
  • Strong interpersonal & communications skills to form good working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work in a team of diverse skill sets and cultures with good judgement and integrity.
  • Bachelor's degree. STEM, finance, business, or related fields preferred. MBA, CFA, or Series 7/57/4 desirable.
