Job description

The HR Business Partner Consultant will work directly with the Research & Preclinical Development (R&pD) organization. The R&pD organization is 1800+ employees and has created a deep and broad pipeline spanning many therapeutic areas. This role would support a number of teams across R&pD ranging from early discovery through preclinical development.

The HR Business Partner team works collaborately with the HR Centers of Excellence (Talent Management, OD, Total Rewards, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and HR Operations) to understand the strengths and the gaps across the function and ensure HR can create programs and solutions that meet their business needs. HRBP's develop solutions to solve business challenges in order to increase their ability to deliver on their everyday goal-utilizing science to bring new medicines to patients.

As an HRBP Consultant
•You will be an advisor to managers and employees on organizational and people related issues, including but not limited to talent acquisition and development, change management, organization design and effectiveness, employee engagement, employee relations, and performance management, to promote and maintain REGN's high-performance culture, the Regeneron Way (our values). •A key focus will be on talent acquisition. This roles partners with our Talent Acquisition team and client groups to identify current and future talent needs. Clarifies the technical skills and behaviors that are critical for success. Participates in interviews for key positions (generally Scientist/Manager levels and above), as well as the candidate debriefs. Helps drive the best hiring decisions in a rapidly growing organization. Will be expected to be part of the design and delivery of the solutions with learning team.
•Partners with hiring managers to support successful onboarding of new hires; may partner to design and facilitate new leader ease-in sessions.
•Partners with R&pD DE&I Committee to help drive and support key programs and initiatives.
•Identifies needs (individual, team and department levels) within client areas and partners with OD Consulting team to design solutions that will address business needs.
•Partners with the Total Rewards team to define new roles, identify external comparable/market value of positions, implement annual pay for performance, market adjustments, and other reward and recognition programs, as well as developing, revising, and communicating career ladders.
•Partners with leaders to review employee engagement survey data results to help managers own and develop action plans that support their business and people needs.
•An active contributor to the broad HRBP team that shares best practices and balance the needs of their own client group with the needs of the overall business.

To be considered for this role you must posses a minimum of bachelor's degree in an HR related discipline; advanced degree such as MBA, or Master's in Organization Development or Human Resources is preferred. A minimum 8 years' experience in industry: pharma/biopharma/biotech in an HR role. Experience supporting or working directly in an R&D organization.
