Job description

Main Objective: Peerless Surgical, Inc. is seeking ambitious individuals to join its growing team. As an Human Resource/Office Assistant for Peerless Surgical Inc. a distributor for Arthrex, you will have a diverse set of administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate will exhibit high standards, excellent communication skills, and have an ability to take initiative, and prioritize daily tasks. A strong ability to take charge and meet tight deadlines will ensure your success in this multi-faceted role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for preparing, tracking, and auditing company expense reports and company card expenses in compliance with Sunshine Act regulations.
  • Assist with coordinating team events including annaul sales meeting, holiday, and team building events.
  • Arrange for catering requested for office meetings and functions.
  • Prepare monthly, weekly and one- time reports or projects as requested by the management team.
  • Schedule meetings, conferences calls, Webex, as necessary.
  • Maintain supplies inventory for office by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, and placing orders for supplies as needed.
  • Assist with New Hire documentation including but not limited to: offer letters, employment contracts,
    non-competes, submitting background checks, facilitating Drug Screens, and vendor credentialing for health management systems
  • Assist in the onboarding process for newly hired employees and process all necessary new hire paperwork.
  • Benefit administration including processing enrollments/terminations, entering information into ADP and working with carriers
  • Administer online COBRA enrollments and changes with third party vendor
  • Ensure compliance with USCIS Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification
  • Issue security badges for employee access to building
  • May assist in other administrative functions or special projects, including HR, Inventory, and Medical Education support.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience .
  • Prefer at least 2 years experience in an administrative support role
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Compliance tracking and reporting experience a plus
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
