The role:


The HR Manager works with company management and legal counsel to attract, develop and retain high quality employees that will support the Company strategy and meet all organizational and legal requirements.


Main responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with the Procedures, Guides and Work Instructions in force at all times, as well as any other published by the Company.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; monitoring performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; and addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Create, develop and implement an HR strategy to support the business strategy of the Plant.
  • Plan the HR Budget, templates, training plan, annual development evaluations, labor relations and other HR activities as they are identified.
  • HR reporting in line with company requirements, specifically through meetings, KIT (Keep-in-Touch)
  • Implement and maintain HR procedures and initiatives such as Training, Selection, Salaries and Benefits, Communication, Organizational Levels, Scorecard, Saica Capability System, etc.
  • Carry out together with the different functional and Plant Directions, the Annual Evaluation of Staff Development. Aligning staff to necessary changes.
  • Manage, as representative of the Company, the individual and the labor relations with the Employees and / or the Employees representatives
  • Represent the Company before Public Organizations: Social Security, Labor Inspection, Employment Services.
  • Labor Calendars, Salary Tables, Equality Plans, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with the Code of Ethics defined by Saica.
  • Manage all aspects of wages and benefits in line with Saica procedures and prevailing law. Employee Salary Tables, Annual Salary Reviews, Fixed Compensation, Variable Compensation, Benefits in kind.

Requirements:

Academic qualifications: Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree in HR preferred.

  • Certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and/or Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) Certified


Professional experience: 5 years+ experience in a similar post or as Head of HR.

  • Strong knowledge of US and Ohio labor law.
  • Experience working for an international company
