As a key member of our HR team, youll manage all aspects of the employee journey including new hires, onboarding, benefits, employee changes, and exiting employees. As the front-line for employee interaction, youll keep sensitive information confidential and demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and judgment in the application of policies and procedures.
As a Human Resources Coordinator, your roles and responsibilities consist of:
Assists with recruitment and the interview process. Tracks status of candidates in HRIS and responds with follow-up letters/emails at the end of the recruiting process
Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions
Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files
Submits online investigation requests and assists with new-employee background checks
Assists with the preparation of the performance review process
Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by the Human Resource Generalist
Assists with processing of terminations
Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.
Files documents into appropriate employee files.
Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
Prepares new-employee files
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Our candidate qualifications for the Human Resource Coordinator include:
2-4 years of Human Resources experience with recruiting, onboarding and general HR tasks
Associates or a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent work experience
Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures
Experience in the site excavation industry is a plus
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and various Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS
Solid written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills to engage with all employees
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to problem solve and prioritize activities with a sense of urgency
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
