CCB-Business Analyst- Sr. Associate

Objectives of the BB Sales Finance team are generally categorized into:

• Planning & Reporting - Provide timely and accurate financial reporting, explain results and variances, track against targets and ensure profitability goals are achieved, support broader BB finance team and CFO
• Business Support - Support Divisional executive leadership teams with internal presentations and business reviews, ad-hoc business projects / requests
• Strategic Analytics and Projects - Drive critical financial analytics to provide insights for management decision making, partner with other finance and functional teams to lead and / or support strategic business projects to help achieve business goals and drive market leadership

Responsibilities of the candidate will include:

• Create and distribute National Reporting, including Executive Management Reports and Manager Scorecards
• Support team efforts on dashboard reporting design and delivery (i.e. Tableau); help support firmwide data / reporting automation efforts
• Analyze financial results, provide variance analysis, prepare/coordinate presentations for management meetings and LOB business reviews
• Provide business and financial support of balance sheet and income statement for Division, Markets and Areas
• Deliver other statistical and field productivity data to support profitability decisions and strategic initiatives
• Interface with Divisional Finance Managers to share National insights and provide guidance on how to leverage supporting detail to drive additional analysis at the Division level

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; ability to work with large data sets to present conclusions concisely
• Excellent quantitative and analytical problem solving skills
• Strong knowledge of Essbase and Retail Banking Financial Systems; experience with SQL, Tableau and Alteryx a plus
• Experience creating and delivering presentations to groups and ability to manage concurrent projects
• Ability to comprehend and clearly communicate complex concepts in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and provide strong documentation
• Professional maturity and personal integrity, confidence to challenge the status quo and drive change
• Strong work ethic, proactive and results-oriented, fact based approach
• Excellent communication, organizational and judgement skills
• High degree of patience for working through multiple iterations of work, dealing with the demands of senior management and varying project subject matter
• Positive attitude / teachable / coachable
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics or related discipline
• 4+ years of Banking or Financial Services experience
