Job description

HRV Conformance Verification Associates, Inc. supplies a highly integrated series of professional engineering and quality assurance/quality control services worldwide that span the steel, concrete, paint, mechanical, and construction industries.

HRV is excited to be experiencing growth! As a result, HRV is seeking a full-time Human Resources Manager. This position directly contributes to the successful accomplishment of the organization's goals and objectives, and is responsible to manage and drive results, focusing on all aspects of Human Resources.

This position requires a highly organized individual, adept in creating and building relationships externally and internally at all levels within the organization. The Human Resources Manager must be sensitive to corporate needs, employee goodwill, and the business needs.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Management

* Manage assigned Human Resources functions within the organization including compliance, safety, organization development, talent acquisition, training and on-boarding, and benefits
* Provides leadership and expertise to managers and owners on HR and related matters
* Monitor and provide creative solutions for improving employee engagement and overall company morale
* Responsible for supervising the Human Resources generalist's activities including talent acquisition, on-boarding, training, and benefits administration

Benefits Administration

* Maintain and update employee records and benefits files
* Coordinate daily benefit processing, including enrollments, terminations, claims.
* Advice and inform employees of the details of the company's benefit programs
* Resolve benefit - related issues and respond to quires and request in a timely manner
* Research new employee benefit plans and vendors
* Liaise with vendors and negotiate and coordinate contracts for new and existing plans
* Collaborate with payroll and ensure that employers contributions and payroll deductions are processed accurately and in a timely manner
* Maintain and create records, reports, and documentation in accordance with federal, state, and provider regulations.
* Maintain and assist with monthly benefit reconciliation

Safety and Training

* Assist in yearly, Safety Stand Down initiative
* Oversight and coordination of corporate, compliance and technical trainings
* Presents and coordinates training sessions both in-person and via webinar
* Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed
* Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations
* Maintains human resource information system records and compiles database reports

Recruitment

* Develop, facilitate, and implement all phases of the recruitment process
* Collaborate with department managers to develop detailed job descriptions and hiring criteria
* Assist with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors and other stakeholders
* Collaborates with the hiring manger during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinate details.

Education/Background:

* Minimum 5+ years related experience
* Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* HR Certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, PHR) preferred
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites or related software
