The Strategy and Programs team within KX (People) works across all areas of the function with a focus on Talent Acquisition and Talent Management to lead or support efforts that will be instrumental in finding and hiring future Krakenites. There's a lot to do and some of the efforts include supporting the build out of new people functions, rethinking every current processes end-to-end, evaluating our current technology stack, and leading implementations/integrations. While efficiency and effectiveness is the goal, the most important part is any decision the team makes considers and preserves what makes Kraken such a unique and special place to work.
What will you be doing?
- Lead or collaborate on various projects mainly focusing on improving people or recruiting operations that vary in scope and complexity, often juggling multiple at once.
- Track project plans to ensure progress towards goals and targets. Manage expectations and maintain relationships with cross-project stakeholders to build rapport and credibility, plan, create, deliver content, and to provide and receive input to help achieve project goals.
- Act as a consultant and thought leader, providing guidance to other cross-functional project teams to ensure alignment.
- Design process and program improvements which improve efficiency, effectiveness, or satisfaction.
- Handle a mix of both programmatic responsibilities but also handle more tactical or operational tasks.

- Have High emotional Intelligence with the ability to strengthen collaboration through empathy and influence.
- Proficiency at leading cross-functional projects.
- Experience working in people related-functions in recruiting or HR.
Nice to haves:
- Experience working with technical teams, external vendors, and/or senior management.
- Experience with any Project Management tools such as Jira, Notion, Asana, etc.
- Knowledge of recruiting or HR processes and policies.
- Experience with HRIS such as Workday.Experience with ATS such as Lever, Greenhouse, SmartRecruiters, Workday Recruiting.
- Experience working in both small to medium size companies (under 5,000 employees) and large companies (over 25,000 employees).
