This is a newly created position for the team! As a Talent Acquisition Specialist you will partner with hiring managers and leaders to attract top talent to the company. The focus of this role will be recruiting for our non-exempt level opportunities; guiding candidates and hiring teams through the hiring process. This individual manages the recruiting process from generating a pipeline of candidates through negotiating employment offers.
Responsibilities - the usual stuff:
- Coordinate with hiring manager(s) to determine staffing needs and best recruiting process for position(s)
- Leverage knowledge of our business needs and search requirements to effectively match candidates with roles
- Provide an efficient and high-touch experience for every candidate from application stage to offer, evaluating skill levels, driving the interview process and offer process, salary recommendations and closing of candidates
- Manage current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS) UKG
- Communicate effectively with the interview team to ensure preparedness throughout the interview process. Share and exchange information with all levels of the organization
- Screen resumes and interview applicants, administer assessment and coordination of interviews with hiring managers
- Use traditional and nontraditional resources, such as career fairs, online job fairs, community network events, employee referral programs, etc., to identify and attract quality candidates
- Follow up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding recruiting process
- Initiate and manage background checks and drug testing for new hires
- Successfully negotiate, prepare offer letters, and deliver verbal and written employment offers
- Complete weekly metrics on recruiting activity
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state employment laws throughout the recruiting process
- Will be part of projects throughout the year
- Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least two years of full cycle recruiting experience
- Experience with high volume recruiting hiring multiple positions
- Experience working with an ATS
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
