Human Resources Credentialing Specialist Position Summary:
The Human Resources Credentialing Specialist aids with and facilitates human resource processes from candidacy to new hire onboarding and beyond. This individual will maintain high standards of accountability and operate on the principals of a High-Reliability organization in an effort to achieve safety, quality and efficiency goals. The Human Resources Credentialing Specialist acquires and maintains relevant compliance documentation for Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) provider candidates employed with client facilities by partnering with internal sales and recruitment teams, creating urgency with candidates and reinforcing federal, state and Columbus mandates in order to achieve compliance for on-time start date ultimately impacting fill rate and market share.

Responsibilities:
The Human Resources Credentialing Specialist is responsible for the following:
- Review IDD providers' submitted requirements including licensure, certifications, screens and other critical documents using the Jobvite system to determine IDD provider document status versus requirements needed for a specific assignment in order to pursue outstanding requirements.
- Communicate timely updates of IDD provider document status with all internal stake holders via Jobvite system, email, phone, etc. to facilitate a team approach in gathering all required documents.
- Create urgency with IDD providers via email and phone, to encourage timely and accurate document submission by establishing target dates and monitoring document submission progress in order to deliver comprehensive documentation to the client facility for an on-time assignment start date.
- Coordinate with 3rd party vendors to determine appropriate dates, times, locations for IDD candidate to complete necessary compliance steps including drug screens, back-ground checks, immunizations, etc.
- Collaborate with Bids & Contracts team to review all incoming new client contracts or contract revisions for Credentialing requirements, for assigned facilities in order to identify unique requirements.
- Consult clients on Credentialing best practices by making recommendations on requirements expectations and realistic start dates to streamline submission process and placement processes in order to increase fill rate of qualified IDD providers.
- Support a candidate from the point of verbal offer through the launching of onboarding through our ATS platform. This process includes background check, credentialing, employment letter and onboarding paperwork.
- Launches I-9 process, and requests with IT, Columbus email (if needed) for new employee.
- Transfers new hire documents (resume, application, signed Employee Agreement, licensure, IDs) to new employee record in HRIS.
- Launches Welcome email from Payroll system in HRIS, and provides password resets, lockout reactivations and other access resets within UltiPro for all employees.
- Provides additional assistance and answers questions from new hires throughout onboarding processes and their first few weeks of employment.
- Completes Background Checks to include fingerprinting, drug screening and monthly OIG through third-party provider.
- Manages and maintains the following files: Job Descriptions, Credentials, Auto Insurance, Licensing. Distributes reports to VP of Operations and Division Leadership on a monthly basis.
- Maintains the company's organizational charts.
- Process employment verifications
- Supports the incoming and outgoing mail for Shared Services
- Supports Finance with all Shared Services Accounts such as: Staples, Amazon, FedEx, Xerox Copier
- Maintaining internal audits as needed
- Participation in HR special projects as needed - COVID Vaccination
- Report generation
- Create and maintain process/standard workflow
- Process status changes and termination with SharePoint and UKG
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field, may consider experience in lieu of degree.
- Over two years of customer service or related experience.
