Job description

PPT Consulting, a regional consulting firm specializing in People, Process and Technology solutions, is seeking a qualified Technical Project Manager to manage the migration and implementation of Microsoft Office 365 throughout the enterprise.

Responsibilities:

  • Experience migrating different business units to single, Office 365 environment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft's entire cloud suite including Office, Teams, SharePoint, Outlook and OneDrive.
  • Develop a prioritized O365 roadmap and deployment plan to leverage core O365 components (Teams, Outlook, SharePoint etc.)
  • Experience with merging "older" technologies into O365
  • Develop a plan to manage dormant accounts
  • Access the impact of O365 across all applications
  • Lead testing efforts
  • Experience creating and implementing plans per project goals and objectives.
  • Manage project work plans, revising them as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Maintain accurate reporting of the project schedule and status (relative to time, cost, budget and scope).
  • Publish weekly status reports/dashboards.
  • Facilitate project status meetings and key stakeholder reviews
  • Manage issues and risks in order to minimize exposure and risk on project.
  • Provide leadership to diagnose and overcome barriers to team/project progress.
  • Execute implementation plan and monitor progress, perform project review.
  • Identify and engage key Stakeholders as appropriate.
  • Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities.
  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project and scope.
  • Elevate all critical issues and risks with suggested courses of action.
  • Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
  • Create and manage Project Workplans, Project Risks and Issues Log and Weekly Status Report/Dashboards

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of Project Management delivery with at least 8+ years current project management experience; 3-5+ years of O365 at least two enterprise-level Office 365 deployments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business.
  • PMP certification is preferred.
  • Experience with developing and gaining alignment with stakeholder groups on a phased O365 roadmap.
  • Recent project management experience within the Microsoft stack (Exchange, O365, Access and Identity, Active Directory, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Demonstrated familiarity and experience in using MS Project / Project Online.
  • Ability to apply proven project management methodologies and practices, including IT Service delivery and Support (e. g. ITIL Foundation)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to make technical concepts understood by non-technical people.
  • Ability to be organized and multi-task; to establish and follow priorities.
