Fund Staff Accountant

Our client is seeking a sharp, highly motivated Fund Staff Accountant for their location in Plymouth Meeting, PA. Position is currently remote, but will eventually transition to hybrid.


The Fund Staff Accountant will be responsible for managing an outsourced service administrator and completing financial reporting. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure to various alternative investment sectors.

Responsibilities of the Fund Staff Accountant

  • Performing financial reporting for investment and service entities
  • Completing treasury related functions
  • Preparing performance reporting
  • Regularly communicating with service providers, including tax preparers and auditors
  • Preparing subscription documents and providing investment managers with anti-laundering information
  • Ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures
  • Ad hoc projects
  • Handling advisory report preparation
  • Performing operational due diligence on investment fund managers and operating partners, both current and prospective

Requirements of the Fund Staff Accountant

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 2-4 years accounting experience (ideally investment accounting)
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Microsoft Dynamics preferred
  • Strong Excel proficiency

Compensation: $75k
