Our client is actively seeking a talented Business Systems Analyst. This position is on a hybrid schedule and will require 2-days per week in office, in Nashville, TN. This is a full-time, permanent assignment with our client.

Job Description

  • Act as advisory resource to staff on all phases of project life cycle.
  • Create test conditions, testing plans, and create/supervise the corresponding program documentation.
  • Plan, develop, test and document highly complex computer programs.
  • Assist management with the collection of user requirements.
  • Analyze user requirements and needs for complex business problems.
  • Convert user requirements into functional specifications.
  • Assist in the training of entry staff and complete review of work.
  • Assist with project time estimates and develop training plans.
  • Examine and evaluate data processing program specifications and develop new or improved standardized methods and procedures.
  • Conduct on-site observation to ascertain unit functions, work performed, methods and equipment used.
  • Help train employees in new procedures or operations.
  • Assist in the preparation of status reports, management reports and budget development.
  • Initiate and support the continual improvement of Keystone Automotive Industries' quality improvement system.
  • Assumes other duties as assigned.

Education :

  • B.A. or B.S. preferred in a computer-oriented field or equivalent with work experience in related field.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with writing user stories for Developers
  • Familiarity with SDLC
  • Must be a proficient PC user and have strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Good written and verbal communication is desired.
  • Machines, Equipment, and Software
  • Multi-user computer, computer terminals, printers, telecommunications equipment, modems, routers, communications server, copier, fax machine, Microsoft Office software, E-mail, desktop publishing, Reflections, and Novell NetWare.
  • Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment:
  • May be required to lift items up to 75 lbs.
  • Must have the ability to work in conditions of frequent interruptions.
