This opportunity is for Byrdstown, TN

Responsibilities:

* Coach Safety, Quality and Productivity and ensure objectives are met by following standardized work.
* Build Production Lead and Production Technician capabilities and foster growth.
* Support creation of standardized work to optimize production metrics.
* Validate production processes and ensure assembly line is operating safely, smoothly, and producing quality parts.
* Support continuous improvements and coach problem resolution to the lowest level.
* Create a conducive work environment for Leads and Technicians to complete their assigned responsibilities.
* Basic administration of supervisory responsibilities and documentation.
* Daily reporting of production metrics (safety, quality, delivery, cost, people).
* Provide direction and support in the allocation of resources in order to appropriately cover the needs of production and engineering.
* Support Lead Technician to ensure lineside material and station equipment readiness.
* Support Production planning, strategic layout, process flow and expansion.
* Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
* Must be able to work flexible shift work

Requirements

* 5+ years of manufacturing experience or supervisory experience
* 2+ years of experience in battery manufacturing or assembly highly preferred
* Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Operations, Transportation, Applied Engineering Science - preferred but not required (High School Diploma or equivalent)
* Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
* Knowledge of constraint management principles
* Microsoft Office and Google Suite knowledge
