What would you do as a Talent Acquisition Specialist?

  • Builds and maintains a successful relationship with both clinical and non-clinical candidates through recruiting, credentialing, and onboarding.
  • Partners with hiring managers to determine staffing needs.
  • Sources candidates and performs in-person and phone interviews with candidates as required.
  • Creates, maintains and updates all job descriptions and manages job requisitions.
  • Manages to staffing goals and provides accurate and timely reporting regarding new hire status and start dates.
  • Ensures all required new hire information is received and processed timely, including credential verification.
  • Communicates effectively with new hires, leadership and other stakeholders throughout the recruiting and onboarding process.
  • Remains current on the organization's structure, HR policy, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.
  • Establishes a strong partnership between IT, Payroll, Training and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth onboarding transition.
  • Provides information on salary, benefits and organizational culture throughout the recruiting and onboarding process.


Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of recruiting experience and education
  • 1-3 years of progressive experience in a healthcare role that directly interacts with providers and other clinical support staff
  • Proven track record of effective recruitment of health care personnel and clinical support staff
  • Broad based experience with respect to solicitation, screening and onboarding of all categories health care personnel
  • Experience creating and maintaining accurate and detailed reports pertaining to recruiting, onboarding and retention
  • Experience managing Human Resource Information System (HRIS)
  • Ability to develop successful relationships with many stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong Microsoft Office Products Knowledge (Outlook, Word, Excel)
