POSITION SUMMARY:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS) will focus on candidate talent search. The TAS will foster collaborative team work and a strong service-oriented culture. Responsible for recruiting staff for Goodwill Central Texas, corporate office, warehouse and retail stores and other positions as directed. The TAS must be capable of managing full cycle, volume recruiting efforts for the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understand how to recruit active and passive candidates, attract highly qualified candidates, and move them through our talent acquisition process--resulting in hires of the highest caliber.
- Build and manage candidate pipelines for line-level and managerial positions and assess priority levels of current and future positions in order to appropriately focus recruiting efforts. Identify potential candidates and use cost-effective techniques to attract applicants.
- Demonstrate expertise in the effective use of grass roots tools, such as: job boards, social media, job fairs, networking meetings, employee referral programs, and staffing agencies.
- Provide hiring managers with a qualified slate of candidates and guides both candidates and hiring managers through the hiring process.
- Schedule candidate interview as needed by management team.
- Maintain superior customer service to all internal and external customers.
- Develop and deliver recruitment training to hiring managers on a one-on one basis or in group situations.
- Communicate recruiting successes and challenges to internal stakeholders regularly.
- Demonstrate ethics and comply with Corporate Compliance Program.
- Meet Annual Mandatory Training hours.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- Must demonstrate a maturity of practice using the 5 pillars and principles of servant leadership.
- Must possess understanding of marginalization and how it impacts those Goodwill serves and employs.
- Experience with high volume recruiting. Experience in utilizing Applicant Tracking system(s).
- Must be able to understand work instructions in English.
- Exhibit respect for diversity of thought and have experience to advance it in teams/organization.
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Two years of recruitment and/or significant administrative experience.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Workflow and process oriented experience, preferably with hiring, selection, and on-boarding.
- Computer literate and have experience using Microsoft Office.
- Texas Driver's License; current liability insurance, personal transportation and a good driving record.

Commensurate with experience.
