Job description

The AR Clerk works in a team environment and part of the team effort is to maintain Corporate Standard in collections that result with minimum standards of 94% Current & 30 days on a City Ledger monthly average of 4-5 million dollars. AR Clerk may be required to assist with task forcing at other properties in regards to Accounts receivable projects.

Job Responsibilities:

-Balancing & posting of charges, payments and credits
-Preparation of invoices
-Processing credit applications
-Handling administrative duties such as organization & filing of all reports in accordance with the company's accounting and credit policies & procedures.
-Collection efforts of outstanding invoices for Groups, Private Club Members, and Guests
-Handling of daily inquires and dispute resolution for all clients
-Attending weekly Group Resume Meetings, Group Pre -conference meetings and Group bill reviews - upon request.

Job Requirements:

-Previous Accounts Receivable Experience
-Front Desk Opera PMS Experience required
-Accounting degree preferred but not required
-Basic Working knowledge of computers, office equipment, 10 key, Word and Excel skills;
-Reading, Writing & Oral proficiency in the English Language - ie Excellent Communication and written skills
-Basic Knowledge of Administrative duties: answering phones, sorting, filing, business etiquette
-Working Knowledge of Hotel & Club's Property Management Systems: Opera, Micros, Resort Suite Preferred
