Specializing in fire sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems, fire pumps & fire extinguishers, AFS is pursuing new verticals, new services and new markets to aggressively augment their growth. Now pursuing fire protection opportunities in Commercial, Industrial, Government, Education (K-12) & Healthcare as well as the Multi-Family, AFS has also expanded into the Security field and now offers expertise in selling, designing, installing and servicing CCTV & Security Alarms, Access Control systems and monitoring services for both Security and Fire Alarm. About the Role

This role reports to the onsite Brnach Manager and is located in Dallas, TX. AFS is looking for Fire Alarm Sales Estimator for immediate opportunities. Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients negotiating and closing of fire alarm sales. Must understand the sales cycle, maintain a pipeline, and forecast correctly. This position requires a team player with a positive, professional attitude and demeanor.

What you'll do (day to day)

  • Actively grow business by seeking new relationships and service opportunities
  • Produce accurate estimates and create proposals for new contracts-ground up, build outs, renovations.
  • Cross-sell for other company departments.
  • Maintain high level of service and professionalism.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare proposals in accordance with company policy and in a professional and timely manner.
  • Actively pursue opportunities with existing and new prospective customers in an effort to build business.
  • Take advantage of all marketing opportunities through networking and other market related events ex: industry meetings and afterhours functions
  • Expected to meet or exceed annual, assigned sales goal/budget
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

Required Education and Experience

  • Knowledge of fire alarm systems, security, access control, CCTV experience is a plus.
  • Must be a self-starter able to generate new business leads and identify sales opportunities.
  • Must apply innovative and effective sales and project management techniques to maximize performance.
  • Understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards.
  • Make decisions and recommendations that affect profitability.
  • Assertive personality with a progressive and positive attitude.
  • Willing to call on new customers.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Good interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to "think outside the box" and encourage creative thinking in others.
  • Ability to work as part of a team to achieve the Company's overall goals.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen.
  • Normal work hours are Monday - Friday from 7:00AM - 4:00PM
