Job description

Our client is looking for a Human Resources Assistant/Onboarding Specialist to manage the complete onboarding lifecycle for new employees from offer letter to first day. Shape the future of the new employee onboarding experience by helping to automate and streamline the process. 2-5 years of experience supporting Human Resources is required.

  • Maintain and update data within our HR/Payroll System, Workday, ensuring a high degree of accuracy.
  • Provide a high-level of support to employees by responding to questions and escalating issues as necessary.
  • Manage employee files and be responsible for uploading new hire documentation.
  • Support the integrity of our data by running regular audits and reporting.
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects within the People Operations Team and other administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Self-driven. You have superior organizational skills, integrity and great follow through on tasks. You don't get overwhelmed easily.
  • Naturally curious. You're innovative, extremely creative and constantly looking for ways to tweak and optimize process.
  • Obsessive about new hire experience. You are self aware, well-spoken on the phone and eloquent in emails. You've onboarded a million employees and know all their names.
  • Fun. You're a charismatic people person who can talk to anyone; you're flexible, fearless, and excited to help build something awesome and share it with the world.
  • Motivated. You understand the impact of a highly-satisfied, excited crew; you are slightly obsessive-compulsive about grinding away at issues.
  • A utility player. You're willing to help out wherever needed.
