Conversion oftelephone and office walk-in prospects to leases, resulting in maintained andincreased occupancy, and the inherent responsibility to effectively communicateto existing residents and establish a successful renewal program. Providesupport to other Leasing Consultants.

Salary Range: $13-16 hourly based on experience andproperty assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Respond effectively to telephone inquiries to generate prospective resident visits to the property
• Utilize sales skills to demonstrate market ready product and availability to close prospects
• Follow up with prospective residents
• Assist in off-site and on-site marketing
• Prepare reports and communicate with Property Manager on daily activity or ideas to promote leasing results
• Perform lease administration

Experience and Skills
Skills needed tosucceed:

• Demonstrate effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
• Strong human relations and customer service skills, with the ability to maintain professional image
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws
• Computer proficiency
• Knowledge of sales techniques
• Ability to learn and retain knowledge of operating the Property Management Software System

Experience needed:

• 2 years in sales or property management experience
• A valid driver license and any other licenses/certifications required by the state
