Job description

Overview:
This role supports the sales strategy and growth by interfacing with key stakeholders across departments, gathering necessary Salesforce requirements and translating them to the IT team for implementation including customizations, 3rd party integrations, and overall improvements. This role will build and manage processes and establish data elements that can be reported on timely and contain actionable information available to the Sales Teams and their Management across the Division.
Responsibilities:
  • Assesses, examines, and reports collected data from Salesforce in order to increase sales productivity.
  • Collect and analyze data to evaluate current sales goals.
  • Recommend changes to current sales techniques, procedures or promotional efforts based on market research and new trends.
  • Market visits & review of service processes to include audits, actions and recommendations.
  • Support & development of best methodologies for sales services on a local, regional and centralized basis.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for Salesforce and support the sales organization with the tool, pertaining to sales process, territory management, data management and case management.
  • Support marketing and sales vertical initiatives.
  • Provide sales support for National Sales Conference, Local Events and Tradeshows
  • Assists in the development of goals, business policies and performance measures.
  • Actively participates in meetings and providing input to contribute to the overall success in achieving department goals.
  • Work with management and internal stakeholders to ensure that the configuration supports business requirements
  • Develops or augments process flows, documents manual support procedures, and creates user guides and training materials, when appropriate
  • Creates and executes test and verification scenarios with development teams for new or revised functionality
  • Participates in QA integration and regression testing
  • Assists in updating/enhancing functional architectures
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required, along with a minimum of five (5) years job related experience
  • 5 or more years Salesforce Administration experience
  • 3 or more years advanced reporting experience in a sales environment
  • Broad knowledge of sales and service support requirements
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook Exchange
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to provide standardized and ad-hoc reports in an organized, professional format.
  • Communicate with all levels of internal and external personnel, both verbally and in writing.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships.
  • Work in and contribute to a positive team environment.
  • Manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with common software development methodologies and deliverables
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely fashion
  • Project management experience highly desired
  • Ability to lead others and work as part of a team with aggressive deadlines and high-pressure work
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced growing environment
  • Ability to work with some ambiguity and drive toward completion of technical requirements
