Retail Sales Associate
Reports to: Store Manager
Department: Company-Owned Franchise
Classification: Part-time
Non Exempt Location: Willowbrook Mall, TX
Compensation: $11-$12/hr + Commission
DESCRIPTION
The Sales Associate is expected to provide world-class shopping experience to our customers by identifying their needs and providing appropriate solutions with ZAGG's innovative products. The Sales Associate will assist customers with purchase and install of ZAGG products along with mobile device repair needs.
Retail Channel Partners is the Master Franchisor for ZAGG retail stores; managing, owning and operating stores across the US and CAN. ZAGG is the industry leader in screen protection with their world-renowned InvisibleShield products, Gear4 cases, mophie power and mobile Bluetooth® keyboards. They also offer top-selling personal audio products with the fun iFrogz brand and rugged BRAVEN brand. The Sales Associate will be a proud champion of both RCP and ZAGG's culture.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- 80% Retail Sales & Mobile Device Repair
- Greet and assist customers with purchase of all ZAGG products
- Maintain expert knowledge of all ZAGG branded products
- Help customers make the best-informed decisions concerning ZAGG products
- Provide professional installation of ZAGG protection products on customer devices
- Perform smartphone and mobile electronic device repairs
- Must have regular, consistent and punctual attendance
- 10% Inventory Management and Store Maintenance
- Conduct regular inventory counts
- Receive inventory shipments into point of sale
- Keep store clean, stocked and well organized both front of house and back of house
- 10% Other Duties as Assigned

- Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays (part-time hours)

QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years' experience in a retail or similar sales environment
- Basic computer skills
- ZAGG product Knowledge preferred

- EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma required.
- LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, write, type, and verbally communicate effectively and professionally with customers, other business departments, guests, and vendors. Ability to diplomatically deal with difficult situations and people, while exhibiting a consistent level of professionalism.
- PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for 2-4 hours at a time. Must have the ability to type, reach, manipulate computer and phone systems, handle or feel objects and must have the ability to use the telephone (both with verbal and written communication). The employee frequently is required to use hands to manipulate, handle or feel objects and phones. The employee must be able to lift 30-50 lbs. Must have visual acuity for color and fine detail.
