Job description

To support our continued growth, we are conducting a search for a Business Valuation and Dispute Analyst. The hired individual will represent an addition to staff and will be an integral member of our team. Our Business Valuation and Litigation Support Practice works across a wide range of industries and is positioned to handle both large and moderate scope engagements. Some of the responsibilities for this role include:

• Assist with intangible asset valuations, purchase price allocations, and estate and gift tax valuations among other projects

• Perform industry benchmark analysis in Excel

• Lead economic and industry research

• Research databases for transactional and public comps

• Prepare discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis and capitalization of cash flow analysis

• Write reports on economic damages in litigation

• Prepare proposals, engagement letters, and document request lists

Desired Skills and Experience

• 3+ years years experience in a valuation role

• Experience analyzing balance sheets and income statements

• Advanced Excel and Word knowledge

• Effective client management skills

• Solid report writing skills

• Ability to multi-task and work effectively under tight deadlines

• Good orientation to detail and follow through

• Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance or related field
