In plain terms, we're building technology platforms to make better patient care easy. And we need a smart Strategic Account Manager to help us achieve our mission.

Responsibilities

The Strategic Account Manager is the primary point of contact for our clients. This person is responsible for timely product implementations, ongoing support, contract management, and building long-lasting business relationships.

The responsibilities of the Strategic Account Manager include but are not limited to the following:

  • Under general supervision, provides project management leadership, including defining the project schedule and defining deliverable acceptance and reporting procedures for multiple and concurrent projects.

  • Defines the acceptance criteria for each project deliverable, works with the team to establish appropriate timelines, and oversees the review of client deliverables to ensure all client criteria is met, as defined in the Statement of Work.

  • Maintains professional working relationships with the customer at all levels. Develops client relationships into community champions for Pieces.

  • Monitors account activity and provides guidance on industry specific best practices.

  • Responsible for account set up and technical implementation of the product for existing clients.

  • Recommends appropriate actions relating to optimizing resource management, change management, cost management, and communications management to meet client goals.

  • Identifies potential opportunities for improving client services or products through upselling opportunities.

  • Identifies and analyzes the design of jobs, work processes, and workflows for the clients.

  • Responsible for successful contract renewals for existing clients.

  • Stays abreast of the latest developments, advancements, and trends in the field of consulting services and project management by attending seminars/workshops, reading professional journals, and actively participating in professional organizations. Integrates knowledge gained into current work practices.

Requirements

We're looking for a Strategic Account Manager who's passionate about using technology to help the most vulnerable. You're someone who believes the right data can help build better one-to-one relationships with communities in need of extra support. You have expertise in the following areas:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or a related field. Master's degree preferred

  • May have an equivalent combination of education and experience to substitute for both the education and the experience requirements

  • 2+ years of experience working with concurrent large projects, preferably in a social service or non-profit setting

  • 5 + years experience handling/resolving complex and unique business problems in a healthcare environment

  • Experience working with C-Level clients and communicating status updates and risks as appropriate

  • Energetic, Positive attitude

  • Passionate about problem solving and community impact projects

  • Tech Savvy

  • Strong interpersonal communications

  • Organized, self-driven, and independent thinker

  • Project management experience (PMP preferred, but not required)

  • Strong Microsoft Office or Google Suites experience, and Salesforce experience

  • Travel requirements: Must be able to travel up to 30% or more nationally to support business needs. Must be able to be out of the office, traveling locally, 50% or more to support business needs.
