Job description

The Senior Director of Business Development is responsible for new business opportunities, including growth in new dialysis centers and other strategic initiatives in partnership with physicians and hospitals. This role is responsible for identifying new physician practices for the development of de novo dialysis programs utilizing U.S. Renal Care's physician partnership model. This position also supports the growth of existing dialysis centers in the region and supports the strategic opportunities including dialysis center acquisitions and new growth models for the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and manage growth initiatives within U.S. Renal Care in collaboration with the Regional Operations Team.
  • Participate in regional growth strategy sessions with the U.S. Renal Care Operations Team.
  • Prepare market analysis and strategic presentations to evaluate new growth opportunities.
  • Develop and sustain strong relationships with external and internal physicians/hospitals.
  • Identify and create successful joint venture de novo dialysis opportunities with existing and new physician practices.
  • Identify and create successful joint venture de novo dialysis opportunities and/or integrated care initiatives with hospitals and other related institutions.
  • Develop and execute strategy to support the growth of existing dialysis centers and hospital programs.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field required. Master's degree helpful.

  • Minimum of ten (10) years' experience in healthcare sales, corporate/business development, consulting, and/or physician consulting required.

  • Experience with review of financials required.

  • Experience with the development of new medical facilities as part of an overall growth strategy is strongly preferred.

  • Knowledge of kidney care and/or End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) or similar field is strongly preferred.

  • Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and web based tools) required; proficiency in USRC applications required within 90 days of hire.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
