Job description
What You Will Do:
Works with loan officers in preparing in-depth written analysis on loan relationships for presentation in the annual review or underwriting process. This includes: credit investigations of borrowers and guarantors; economic and market conditions as they relate to the company, industry, and market area; historical financial analysis, and analysis of a guarantor's financial position and cash flow coverage. Determines compliance with financial and non-financial covenants in accordance with CAM (Credit Approval Memorandum) and corresponding Loan Documents. Mitigate, or as applicable, works with Lending Team(s) and Management to design action plan to cure possible violations/breaches. Assess the assigned risk of each loan reviewed, validating the accuracy of the credit grading/loan rating assigned. Identifies problem loans and clearly defines the deficiencies. Provides detailed reasons/rationale for assigning differing and/or adverse risk ratings and recommends final credit grades for approval by Commercial Credit Risk Officer or SVP Commercial Services. Provides assistance and consultation to loan officers, other lending personnel (loan administration, lending assistants etc.) auditors, and regulatory examiners. Participates in member meetings as requested by the loan officers. Completes any other job related duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Purpose, and abide by our Organization's Values.

What We Require:
Bachelor degree in Business Administration or equivalent education and/or experience. Minimum of one (1) year of Commercial or SBA Loan credit analysis experience or at least three (3) years' experience in a financial institution in member/customer service, accounting, or audit departments. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivation to manage own work and prioritize to meet deadlines and maintain attention to detail while handling multiple projects or workflows. Knowledge of Microsoft Word and proficiency in Excel, document imagining software, calculator etc. Flexibility to withstand unpredictable changes to schedules and deadlines.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Thorough knowledge of commercial lending laws and regulations. Thorough knowledge and understanding of federal, state and NCUA regulations. Sound working knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements etc. Strong integrity in all areas, adhering to policies, regulations, and utmost ethical and legal standards.
