The Support Specialist will play a pivotal role in the success of EIM's mission. The person in this position will elevate and transform EIM's customer service initiatives by delivering exceptional customer experiences within our continuing education division. Working closely with the Business Development and Operations Team, the ideal candidate will help foster "lifelong learners" through our cutting-edge postgraduate educational offerings.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in program admissions to include application approval, document tracking/storage, and book shipments
  • Own EIM's online chat platform and monitor and ensure all received voicemails are returned within 24 hours of receipt
  • Accurately track all courses and process faculty honoraria (payments) weekly
  • Supporting backend processes for uploading and downloading student surveys, course certificates and other required documents to and from the Learning Management System and/or Student Information System
  • Manage and improve course logistics that include shipping materials and course compliance
  • Own the following:
  • Transcripts, Diplomas. Program Policy & Procedure Manuals, including assistance in all annual reporting information and survey feedback processing
  • Maintain accurate documentation. reporting and maintenance of student grading
  • Assistance in ordering of supplies including diploma paper, textbooks, shipping materials, etc
  • Maintaining inventory and organization of warehouse
  • Scanning/disposing of sign in rosters and liability release forms
  • Liaison to all internal departments to get stuff done!
  • Manage all inbound support email and phone calls


Key Qualifications/Education:

  • 1-3yrs experience in an educational or corporate environment supporting students or client needs
  • Organize and prioritize responsibilities and duties efficiently based on needs of the business or student
  • Demonstrate effective communication with and between staff, students, faculty and management
  • Work effectively and without supervision both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team
  • Deal with moderate levels of ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
  • Be able to lift and move shipping containers less than 20lbs to and from shipping and storage areas
  • Demonstrate high attention to detail and identify or resolve student impacting issues with urgency
  • Navigate inbound call volumes efficiently and effectively manage email communication in a timely fashion
  • Demonstrate an aptitude for technology and grasp of online chat systems, email, IP telephony system, CRM and Student Information Systems
