Overview / Job Responsibilities::
At ACT I, our people make the difference. As an F-35 Joint Reprogramming Enterprise Acquisition Specialist, supporting the F-35 Joint Program Office's Combat Data Systems Program Management Office, you will be trusted to assist in upgrading and improving the performance of F-35 Reprograming Laboratories that integrate threat intelligence information and mission planning to produce Mission Data File Sets (MDFS). MDFS are a critical part of the F-35 weapon system and enable the pilot's offensive and defensive situational awareness and effective combat employment of F-35 on-board mission systems.

In this role, a typical day will include:

Analyze Reprogramming Laboratory systems, requirements, and capabilities

Identify upgrade requirements for Reprograming Laboratory hardware and software

Develop acquisition plans and contract strategies for Reprogramming Laboratory capabilities improvement and sustainment

Collaborate with the F-35 prime contractor to incorporate Reprogramming Laboratory improvement and sustainment plans into the Capability Upgrade and Refresh Contract

Assist the Reprograming Laboratory Program Manager in managing the Capability Upgrade and Refresh Contract

Minimum Qualifications::
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Bachelor of Science Degree or Bachelor of Arts Degree

DAWIA Program Management (PM) Level II certification or Industry certification equivalent to DAWIA PM Level II

At least 6 years of defense acquisition experience with 5 years of experience in program management roles in aviation related systems

Understanding of DoD Acquisition processes, requirements development, and technology insertion planning

Able to communicate effectively orally and in writing

SECRET Clearance with eligibility for SAR
