Overview:

Amyx is seeking to hire a Jr. Talent Acquisition Specialist in Reston, VA at our Headquarters. This position is currently remote due to Covid-19, but will be remote flexibe upon office return.

Opportunity is knocking for a Talent Acquistion professional with a history of excellence in attracting and hiring top talent in rapidly growing tech industries. Crucial abilities to this role include: sourcing highly-skilled, passive technical talent while simultaneously consulting and advising the recruiting team in shaping the companys talent strategy. The successful candidate will be passionate about Amyx's mission and company culture, thrive in a fast paced environment, be proactive, resourceful and efficient, and maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. This person must be well organized, flexible, and enjoy the challenges of supporting a growing company.

Responsibilities:

Basic Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates directly with lead recruiters, capture managers, and managers to manage positions for the talent team.
  • Source mainly for proposal opportunities and non-contingent work
  • Helps to guide talent decisions and advise on talent strategy.
  • Works directly with lead recruiters to maintain and operate an efficient, full-cycle recruiting operation which supports rapid growth, in adherence with EEO, ADA, and other compliance requirements. Drives the optimization of online jobs advertising and social media campaigns. Assists in developing position descriptions, appropriate compensation and interviewing plans.
  • Knows the pulse of Recruiting as an industry and willing to always learn more. Stays abreast of the latest developments, best practices and trends in Recruiting
  • Maintains strong relationships with community organizations to identify new sources of local talent and to promote Amyx as a partner in the community.
  • Champion communication, efficiency and transparency through tools. Provides reports as requested. Utilizes tracking mechanisms to measure results, impact, and cost-effectiveness of recruiting efforts.
  • Opportunity abounds at Amyx. Accordingly there will be other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Highly consultative with a professionally polished approach; knows when to push issues, and when to massage solutions. Exceptional interviewing practices and techniques.
  • Familiar with working with ICIMs, our ATS
  • Minimum of 2 years recruiting experience.
  • A strong advantage would be a current network/social community of IT candidates and being active on social media tools
  • Experience creating, managing and tracking an effective advertising campaign to attract qualified talent.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality

Physical Demands

Employee needs to be able to sit at a workstation for extended periods; use hand(s) to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Must be able to effectively communicate with others verbally and in writing. Employee may be required to occasionally lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically less than 20 pounds. Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
