Job description

We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our Pasco team!
As a Grigg's Assistant Store Manager, you will support the Store Manager manage the daily operations of the store. This includes managing sales, expenses, profits, and assets of the store while ensuring all customers are receiving a high level of customer service consistent with our Ace helpful brand. In addition, you will also be responsible for associate development, merchandising, inventory control, safety, personnel, and loss prevention in order to promote sales and meet profit goals.

  • Meet and exceed sales goals, maximize profit whilst minimizing costs.
  • Collaborate with team leads on setting and achieving team-specific goals
  • Ensure inventory and promotions are accurate and merchandised to the company's standards
  • Staff is fully versed on the target for the day and excellent customer care standards are met.
  • Assist with recruitment, training and development.
  • Maintain firearms records per company. local, state & federal standards.
  • Ensure all customers are receiving a high level of customer service consistent with our Ace helpful brand.
  • Interact with customers and resolve complaints or grievances

Salary: $50,000-52,000/year

Requirements:

  • Proactive, motivated, self starter
  • 3+ years of progressive retail management experience. More extensive retail experience will be welcomed, especially in the outdoor sports that matches or merchandise mix
  • Strong Soft-lines experience and knowledge
  • Proficient in the use of computers, including: MS Office products (Word, Excel,), POS and Inventory Systems
  • Strong customer service focus with proficient written and verbal English abilities (Spanish Bilingual a plus) The ability to provide "a breed apart" level of customer service
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and follow through skills.* Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

  • The ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and the willingness to roll up sleeves and get the job at hand done
