Here's where you come in:

We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join McKinstry as a member of our Financial Analysis team. If you think analytically, have strong attention to detail, and communicate well with others, then this may be the job for you. The Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting department management and providing financial, forecasting and budget analysis, financial modeling, financial report creation and budget planning.

Support

The Financial Analyst supports the department management with financial and other reporting needs and supports monthly and quarterly department financial, business plan and reporting. You will also help prepare multi-department and corporate annual budgeting and business plan process. Assisting in the development of the organization finance policies, conducting special studies, and cooperating with various departments in the preparation of statistical studies is another key responsibility of this role.

Analysis and Reporting

As a Finacial Analyst, you will solve problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of complex factors. This includes building complex financial models, drafting comprehensive budgets, and assisting in deal analysis and negotiations.

What we would like to see from you:

* Five (5) years of experience in financial analysis and in data mining, data analysis and data modeling techniques required.
* BA/BS degree in business, accounting, finance or related field or equivalent work experience required.
* Proven leadership experience required.
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio required; working knowledge of SharePoint preferred.
* Able to work well all levels of internal personnel and personalities and external customers required.
* Knowledge of both quantitative and qualitative data collection, metrics & analysis required.
* Strong knowledge in developing reports from scratch using Business Objects or Crystal Reports required.
* Prior experience with SQL databases, IBM AS400 systems and DB2 databases preferred.
* Prior Business Intelligence development and design preferred
