Job description

As a insurance advocate, your responsibility is to create agency growth and retention through sales and education. You will help grow the agency by engaging new prospects and build strong relationships within the community.

You'll work as a member of a collaborative team focused on providing insurance and financial products that help educate customers on how to protect their homes, cars, and family to achieve a better quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and initiate new business sales while building business referral relationships
• Maintain reports and records of insurance policies
• Process new insurance applications
• Maintain regular contact with clients and answer questions and make changes to existing policies.
• Grow sales revenue by helping protect customers by offering insurance and financial products that will meet their needs

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of previous sales experience preferred
• Must be willing to obtain insurance licenses; already possessing a license is a plus
• Must be organized, able to multi-task, and be efficient
• Must be self-motivated, reliable and have a positive attitude
• PC and typing skills, Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Social media experience a plus
• Bilingual candidates welcome
• Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable
• Self-starter with a sense of urgency
• Create relationships from a cold start
• Strong work ethic and leadership skills
