Summary: Today the RFID team enables lululemon to provide real time inventory accuracy of its products within stores. Our vision is to unlock end-to-end product visibility from factory to salesfloor to support our guest in finding the products they want. As industry leaders in the RFID space, we continue to innovate and build on experiences extending beyond the stores four walls to provide insights for an elevated guest experience.

Length: 1 year contract

Role & Responsibilities:

The Lead System Engineer will play a DevOps role to move lululemon from a legacy on premise system to a cloud solution to support inventory accuracy. They will lead a team of 3 System Engineers and will work closely with Solution Architects. Engineers and cross functional teams to implement a modern cloud solution with a focus on automation, reliability, security and performance. Their duties include:

• Implementing automation and provisioning solutions in cloud infrastructure to meet business needs and project deliverables
• Setup and implementation of CI/CD processes / pipeline
• Define and implement operations monitoring approach across enterprise systems and their integrations
• Developing and integrating API's across our enterprise applications
• Implement and adopt SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) practices across the domain
• Present solutions within the lululemon engineering and architecture communities, document and share cloud engineering best practices
• Support other engineers to ensure approach and guidelines are adopted

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in IT Engineering, Computer Science with 8-10 years' experience
• Must have 4+ years Kubernetes experience
• Must have experience in leading other engineers (junior to senior)
• 5+ years' experience with cloud technologies: AWS, Terraform, Jenkins, HashiCorp Vault, Kafka, , Containerization (Docker), Apagee, Java or Python and QA automation, Java, Junit, Mock Frameworks
• Experience with APM tools such Dynatrace, App dynamics etc and monitoring tools like Prometheus , Grafana, Splunk etc. across Windows and UNIX platforms
• Experience with integrating performance testing / monitoring into CI/CD Pipelines

Desired Qualifications

· Experience with day-to-day tools such as Jira, PagerDuty, ServiceNow is nice to have
