Job description

JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for the development, maintenance and integrity of company-wide HR data, records, technology, metrics, programs, reports, and employee files. Is the first HR point of contact for employees coming to the HR Department. Works closely with Director of HR, Finance/Payroll, technology vendors, and our parent company.

WHAT YOU'LL DO AT ZETEC

* Serve as a trusted advisor to business; proactively meet and engage with all levels of the business. Gain a deep understanding of business goals and strategy and propose HR solutions tied to business success. Proactively review and analyze data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
* Act as a mentor, coach, and role model to other members of the Zetec team. Collaborate with other HR team members on programs and projects. Bring solutions to continuously improve HR support to the business around efficiency, process, and performance.
* Administer HR systems (IFS, Ultimate Software, and other HR systems); ensure timely and accurate data into HR-related systems.
* Lead talent acquisition strategy/full cycle recruiting; from posting jobs, coordinating interviews, preparing, and making offers, facilitating negotiations, deploying pre-employment contingencies, and scheduling on-site onboarding.
* Streamline offboarding process and conduct exit interviews ensuring exiting employees have a positive sendoff.
* Recommend and draft policies as the company and/or laws change to keep Zetec up to date and complaint.
* Serve as a liaison between Roper Technologies and Zetec to administer benefits program, including educating new and existing employees on health and welfare benefits, managing annual open enrollment, and serving as a resource for employee benefits issues.
* Maintain documentation and ensure accuracy of HR-related data.
* Conduct investigations and manage employee relations, in coordination with the Director of HR and Roper legal.
* Support managers with career conversations, development, and career growth plans and other development initiatives.
* Oversee the testing and implementation of system upgrades and enhancements as required.
* Ensure new hire paperwork and communications are timely and coordinated after offer letter is accepted. Ensuring onboarding paperwork is completed including, but not limited to initiating drug tests, background checks, E-Verify, coordination with Payroll and IT, employee file set up, etc.).
* Administer HR policies and processes; maintain HR process documentation.
* Oversee performance evaluation programs and merit and incentive programs.
* Conducts all internal employee investigations in an unbiased, professional, and confidential manner
* Reviews all findings and outcomes with the Director of HR

* Oversees employee records, including personnel files, training, and safety records
* Oversee employee recognition programs, education reimbursement program, and employee events, as assigned (e.g., blood drives, flu shots, gift cards, biometrics, etc.).
* Assist in preparing annual Affirmative Action Plan.
* Other duties as required in support of the department and the company.

QUALIFICATIONS

* Strong business and HR acumen, including strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and analysis.
* Experience with HR and ERP systems: Ultimate Software or Ceridian experience, preferred.
* Advance knowledge of general HR policies and practices as well as local, state, and federal employment laws.
* Superior and professional communication skills - written, oral, and interpersonal.
* Ability to multi-task, work independently and employ effective time-management skills.
* Ability to work positively in a team environment and respond positively to change/changing priorities.
* Ability to keep HR, employee, payroll, and company-related data and information confidential and secure and to use discretion on a need-to-know basis.
* Strong user-level experience with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
* Five (5+) years of human resources generalist or HRIS/Payroll experience.
* Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination, upon hire.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

* PHR/SHRM-CP/SPHR-SHRM-SCP preferred.
