Job description

SRS is seeking to hire a Contract Recruiter to help manage and execute on a robust talent acquisition pipeline throughout the Washington State area. This candidate will deliver recruiting support to local field operations working closely with SRS Distribution's established Talent Acquisition Team in McKinney, TX.

This role is both strategic and hands-on and will include full lifecycle end-to-end recruiting and interaction with various business unit leaders. You will partner with hiring managers to define job requirements, understand business objectives, and recruit/assess the very best candidates in the industry.

Position will be located at one of our local Washington branches.

Responsibilities:

  • Be self-managed and show the capacity to be a leader in a similar environment. You will manage the staffing process from sourcing and selection through final offer to start date.
  • Source exceptional candidates for regional & branch positions, screen, present, and negotiate to attract and attain the very best candidates for each role.
  • Build relationships with specific organizations and associations, schools, and local resources.
  • Recruitment coordination as needed.
  • Recruitment marketing & sourcing efforts.
  • Liaison with hiring managers and HR to complete background, drug tests and on-boarding.
  • Travel expectations: 5%-10%


Qualifications:
  • Looking for the best overall candidate and will consider an array of backgrounds with a preference for someone with 3-5 years of progressive experience in recruiting & sourcing (advanced sourcing skills preferred)
  • High degree of maturity, credibility, and integrity
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for the Heritage culture (building the most positive force in the industry!)
  • Heavy usage of internal database, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, social media and other tools.
  • Proven ability to prioritize, organize, and work autonomously
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills to speak and write to all levels of management and candidates and write job ads.
  • Computer/software skills. Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint skills for reporting, extracting data.
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer without sponsorship in the US.
  • Candidates must pass a background check with a pre-employment drug test will be considered.
