Job description
A Human Resources Representative position in Fife, Washington is available at Milgard Windows and Doors. Strong candidates will have an HR administrative background with a minimum of one year of payroll, timekeeping, and recruitment experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. This role supports two manufacturing facilities with a variety of Human Resource support functions.
Milgard Windows & Doors is the leading manufacturer of windows and doors in the Western United States with operations in Washington, Oregon, and California. Human Resources Representative job responsibilities include:
- Track team member attendance, schedule changes, and time off.
- Prepare disciplinary actions for attendance issues and provide management with weekly reports.
- Audit and conduct final approval of team member hours and approve payroll registers.
- Act as liaison between team members and Support Center payroll for paycheck issues.
- Maintain team files and ensure documentation is complete.
- Maintain HRIS by processing new hires, terminations, shift changes, and supervisor reporting relationships.
- Deliver tactical support for hourly recruiting activities: phone screens, coordinate & schedule interviews with management, deliver offers, conduct pre-employment background and drug screens, and scheduling onboarding activities.
- Facilitate new team member orientation and related administrative tasks associated with the same for all new team members.
- Help coordinate and execute various employee engagement activities including luncheons and plant meetings
- Sit in front desk reception area to greet and assist visitors to the facility.
- Other office administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 1 year of administrative human resource support in a manufacturing environment or equivalent education to substitute for experience.
- 1 year of payroll, timekeeping, and recruiting experience, strongly preferred.
- Experience with HRIS, ATS, and payroll time keeping software in a fast-paced environment.
- A High School Diploma or GED
- Proficient with Microsoft office programs
- Excellent communication skills with a high degree of customer service
- Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
