In this role you will have the unique opportunity to help shape the first line risk management environment. We are looking for someone who can operate at a high standard with a minimum of supervision. Your line manager will be the Head of Finance and you will be working across the business, including the investment and operations teams.Responsibilities to includeAct as a conduit between the business functions and the second line risk function, assisting with escalation where required.Provide first line risk guidance, coordination and support to the businessDevelopment of risk management reporting for a range of internal and external audiencesPresent risk findings to senior members of the businessArticulation of risk appetite and tolerancesSupport in submissions and managements of errors, breaches and incidentsWorking with internal and external audit in support of controls assurance (AAF 01/20)Deliver Enterprise Risk training to the businessSupport the implementation of a new Enterprise Risk Management SystemAbout YouWe are looking for candidates with relevant experience in auditing, risk and business control management, ideally within a Financial Services environment, coupled with Senior Management involvement. An Undergraduate, with project and change management expertise, governance risk and control systems knowledge (either as a user or administrator), you will have the ability to communicate at all levels with effective IT Skills. Candidates who have knowledge of relevant legislations and FCA regulatory expectations coupled with a recognised qualification (International Certificate in Risk Management / Investment Management Certificate) would be desirable, however is not essential.
