We are currently looking for a highly motivated and experienced IT Systems Analyst with ERP and Manufacturing background to help with the implementation of an MES solution and an ERP reimplementation project. The successful candidate will have technical experience optimizing ERP and manufacturing solutions to support business needs, while providing excellent customer service to users. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter, driven, and accountable. You should also possess a passion for problem solving and story building to answer business questions and explain what the data shows. You should have a keen eye for detail and possess excellent problem-solving and organizational skills. You should be flexible and be able to quickly adapt to evolving priorities and work closely with cross-functional teams to strategize and develop solutions.
This position allows for flexibility to work remotely from time to time depending on project demands.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primary Responsibilities:
• EMCORE Corp. is investing in large capital projects to implement Siemens Opcenter Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and Oracle ERP system to deliver advance capabilities to our Manufacturing and Supply Chain operations.
• As a senior Manufacturing and ERP Business Systems Analyst working in the IT team, you will act as overall MES and ERP point of contact/coordination for all MES and ERP systems related activities.
• Your role would be to help design, configure, implement, support, and enhance technology-based solutions at our manufacturing sites using Siemens Opcenter and Oracle ERP.
• You will have the opportunity to learn and apply the latest versions of the Siemens Opcenter MES and Oracle ERP supply chain cloud applications.
• The IT BSA will work closely with the IT project manager and business to identify and configure optimal technology solutions, and manages project deliverables from ideation to delivery in North America and Asia.
Required Skills:
• 5+ years hands-on functional design and configuration experience with some combination of ERP financials, procurement, production planning, manufacturing, material management and/or quality management functions, preferably with Oracle ERP
• Proven track record implementing full-lifecycle complex ERP or MES systems, preferably for the semiconductor, electronic or aerospace & defense industry
• Business Process expertise of production planning, manufacture engineering and shopfloor execution, preferably with semiconductor and electronic products
- Business Process knowledge of ERP Financials (EPM/GL/AP/AR), Procurement to Pay (PTP), Production Planning, Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Quality Management (QM), include supporting of finance, procurement, production planning, manufacturing, material management, and quality management functions
Preferred Experience:
• 2+ years hands-on functional design, configuration and deployment experience with MES systems, preferably with Siemens Opcenter or Camstar
• Experience with design of MES solutions and integrate with ERP and control equipment
- Ability to organize, specify and model all requirements to ensure they are complete and unambiguous
- Ability to flow chart the systems integrations, business process and system flow
- Define and document user & functional requirements for full lifecycle systems implementations and enhancements
- Ability to use and communicate value obtained through use of reporting and analytics
- Develop test cases, conduct UAT and training at the application and multi-application level
- Outstanding organizational skills, with the ability to communicate and collaborate across internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Self-motivated, ability to lead projects, and manage multiple work streams with little supervision
- Knowledge of software development methodologies, tools, and processes
- Knowledge of, and practical experience with specific tools or technologies used to perform job include (but are not limited to): MS Power BI/PowerApps, data analytics, REST API, Teams, MS SQL, DevOps, Jira
Minimum Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferably in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or other Business degree with information technology course work.
Preferred Education:
- Masters' Degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or other Business degree with information technology course work.
