Imagendary is looking for an experienced, business-minded Finance professional to join our growing team. You will report to the Group Finance VP of FunPlus and will carry out financial and management accounting tasks in connection with the FunPlus US entities and Imagendary (i.e. Irvine), including performing financial analyses, working together with China finance team to complete monthly closing procedures, preparing financial statements according to local GAAP, support US entities' tax filing/reporting tasks, preparing presentations for management and actively contributing to different projects. You should be comfortable working with cross-functional teams and have the ability to manage a wide range of projects across all levels of the business.

Your Responsibilities

l Communicating with regional and/or local tax and/or economic development authorities, collecting government requirements and inquiries, collaborating with China finance team in solution design or drafting responses

l Providing accounting and/or tax solution to fulfil local compliance requirements

l Working together with China finance team to complete monthly closing procedures

l Performing regular in-depth analysis of data based on request from senior management

l Assisting senior management team in Irvine in finance related matters with regard to DingTalk process (or other internal IT systems), such as expense claim, working with China finance team to provide support to senior management team in Irvine

l Responding to finance-related questions in RFP/DD requests

l Contributing to various financial and regulatory tasks in connection with the US entities, including interacting with external auditors

l Helping to prepare the financial statements for the US entities according to local GAAP

l Coordinating with external tax advisor in completing local tax returns

l Take part in various one-off projects

Your Qualities

l University (bachelor's) degree and/or training in finance deemed equivalent

l Solid experience in the fields of finance with at least 5 years' experience in audit, accounting, management control, finance or consulting

l Familiar with US GAAP and local tax requirements

l Expert user of the office IT tools (MS Office and Excel in particular)

l Expert in processing and correlating data; ability to use business intelligence and data visualization tools

l Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese.

l Must be resident in US
