JOB DESCRIPTION -

Key Responsibilities include:

• Evaluating and determining gaps in test coverage
• Code reviews and analysis
• Providing mentoring on Quality principles and developing automated test solutions for integration, performance, data integrity, and UI
• Determining methods of testing integrations with partner applications spanning multiple languages
• Evaluating new technologies and ensure our test methods follow industry best practices
• Providing Quality related metrics

Required

• A track record of success with developing modern test frameworks
• Knowledge of multiple types of testing including Web UI, API, and performance
• Java, Groovy, and Python
• Strong working knowledge of Java and Javascript (5+ years experience)
• Test Frameworks - Ability to lead the test automation using BDD cucumber, Selenium, TestNG, keyword-driven and data-driven frameworks
• NoSQL and SQL databases - Working knowledge on NoSQL Databases such as MongoDB and Oracle
• Mentor and guide the Software Engineers on using Test Automation and best practices for building and maintaining test scripts and integrating into the CI/CD Pipeline
• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• Working knowledge of Microservices and test automation for those using REST Assured, WAF, Cucumber/Karate
• Ability to write Performance scripts using JMeter

Desired:

• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Good analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Knowledge and understanding of application or software security such as: web application penetration testing, secure code review, secure static code analysis
• Enterprise experience with one or more CI/CD implementation, configuration management and orchestration tools: Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, GitHub Actions, Harness IO, Spinnaker, Terraform
• Experience with one or more Cloud platforms: AWS, Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Azure
• API development experience with Apigee, Mulesoft, or a similar framework
• Grid computing / Elastic compute experience with ephemeral instances like Nuke and Pave to scale on-demand leveraging containers and tools like Kubernetes, Docker, EC2, IBM Symphony Grid, Parallel Computing, etc.
• Experience with one or more security and code quality scanning tools: SonarQube, Fortify, BlackDuck, Checkmarx
• Knowledge of and/or experience with any of the following: 12-factor/Cloud Native development, Kafka, GraphQL and Golang
