Description
This position is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting to assigned areas throughout the organization (and assisting non-assigned areas when requisition load is low). This will be achieved through the proactive sourcing of passive candidates, development of recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. Will work as a business partner with client groups and be responsible for managing those relationships and ensuring alignment with the ESi strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand the needs of the roles to be filled
- Will be responsible for Corporate, Administrative, and Laboratory/Facilities/Visual technologies roles across the organization
- Manage Internship Programs across the organization
- Assists with the development and revision of specifications for positions
- Identifies the most effective methods for recruiting and attracting candidates
- Develop an active back-log of passive candidates using focused recruitment strategies and employing innovation to keep current with sourcing strategies and industry trends
- Source applicants through best-identified means - preferably in advance of position need
- Develop, design, and implement high-touch corporate recruiting strategies and plans in support of organizational staffing objectives for a technically oriented workforce
- Attract a diverse group of high-quality passive candidates while delivering an exceptional recruiting experience for both clients and candidates
- Identifies appropriate candidates and assess their qualifications through review of resume, interviews, and other forms of communication
- Possess strong ability to screen, interview, and prepare a candidate pipeline
- Guide candidates and partner with hiring managers through the recruitment process, from pre-qualification through the offer stage
- Ensure all postings for open positions are compliant and posted appropriate job boards, via ESi's Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Enforce and comply with reporting data for the AAP, and associated recruiting goals, EEO1 and Vets100 reporting requirements
- Avoids legal challenges by understanding current legislation; educating managers on requirements; recommending new procedures
- Educate hiring managers on recruiting process, how to interview, how to create a candidate experience, and how to utilize social media in attracting talent
- Maintain consistent, constant communications with hiring managers on the progression of positions
- Create and implement diversity strategies to attract a diverse workforce to the company.
- Manage candidate onboarding from acceptance to the first day of employment, including partnering with managers to ensure a smooth onboarding process
- Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in the efficiency of the department and services performed
- Assist Offices with securing outside labor vendors as needed
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree with 3+ years' experience in a technical field
Computer Skills:
- Intermediate/advanced skills in MS Word & Excel; Internet software skills. Advanced knowledge of Applicant Tracking systems
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
- AIRS or CIR certifications preferred
Other Skills/Abilities or Other Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of related recruiting experience managing all phases of the recruiting cycle
- Experience using and maintaining ATS & HRIS systems
- Thorough understanding of proactive recruiting methods and best practices as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable with a team-based work structure
- Demonstrates flexibility on the job
- Demonstrates initiative and a sense of urgency
- Excellent organizational/time management skills to provide complete follow-through on all areas of responsibility
- Ability to multi-task on other projects in addition to current role responsibilities
- Ability to produce expected results in a rapidly changing and fast-paced environment
- Ability to occasionally work outside and beyond core business hours
