Kelly is looking for an experienced a Maintenance Technician for a great customer of ours near Erlanger, KY. This is a Temp to Hire position!

**Job Description :**

Responsible for performing diversified duties to include but not limited to: repairing and maintaining equipment, grounds, structures, buildings, and facilities according to safety standards. Also, ensuring the overall cleanliness of the facility, both inside and out.

**Essential Functions:**

+ Maintain and repair clients office structures

+ Daily general cleaning of the building and keeping it maintained and in good condition

+ As needed, stock the restrooms, cleanup spills, clean floors and collect trash

+ Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that vehicles and equipment continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, or the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate

+ Maintain and repair tools, equipment, and structures, such as buildings, fences, door hardware and benches, using hand and power tools, hoists, or crane

+ Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge and brush trimmers, and axes, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices

+ Read and interpret equipment and repair manuals, blueprints, work orders, and parts catalogs to perform required maintenance and service

+ Perform basic paint and drywall repairs

+ Operate vehicles and powered equipment, such as mowers, tractors, twin-axle vehicles, snow blowers, chain saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, and pruning saws

+ Mow and edge lawns, using power mowers and edger

+ Shovel snow from walks, driveways, and parking lots, and spread salt in those areas utilizing hand-held snow shovels or truck and equipment mounted snowplows

+ Care for established lawns, as required, by mulching, aerating, weeding, grubbing and removing thatch, and trimming and edging around flower beds, walks, and walls. Mix and spray or spread fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides onto grass, shrubs, and trees, using hand or automatic sprayers or spreaders

+ Assist with the pruning and trimming of trees, shrubs, and hedges, using shears, pruners, or chain saws

+ Provide proper upkeep and cleanliness of sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, fountains, planters, and other grounds features

+ Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas

+ Work infrequent overtime that may include weekends

+ Perform all other duties as assigned by management

**Essential Skills and Experience:**

+ High school diploma or equivalent required

+ Licensed as a building trades professional (Plumbing, Electricity, HVAC, etc.) is optimal

+ Proficient English oral, verbal and written communication skills are required

+ A valid motor vehicle driver's license (other than motorcycle) is required

+ Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance

+ Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of buildings, or other structures such as parking lots and roads

+ Functional user of standard business computer and Microsoft Office software suite is helpful.
