Job description

Position Purpose

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will provide support for full cycle recruiting, including developing relationships with internal and external networks in the sourcing and screening of quality candidates; managing the candidate experience through to on boarding. This will be a hybrid position, working both in office and remote.

Essential Functions

The following list of essential job functions is not exhaustive and may be supplemented or changed as necessary.

  • Collaborates with various departments and hiring managers in determining staffing needs to support the business
  • Create and update job descriptions and related advertisements as needed
  • Assists in the development of recruitment strategies and creative sourcing solutions
  • Utilizes HR Technology to create, post, manage requisitions and the recruiting process
  • Works with HR in the creation and development of recruiting tools, interviewing guides and assessments
  • Conducts initial phone screens of selected candidates, serving as first point of contact, promoting the Company and creating a positive candidate experience
  • Coordinates the interview scheduling process through background check to offer delivery
  • Works with hiring manager and HR in coordinating onboarding
  • Utilizes HR Technology to produce reports and metrics for analysis
  • Actively manages our online employer reputation
  • Carries out other duties as assigned





Qualifications and Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related discipline plus 3-5 years of relevant experience in recruiting preferred or other Human Resources role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.

  • Understanding and practical experience in HR policies and procedures
  • Demonstrated capabilities with HR Technology
  • Familiarity with employment laws as it relates to interviewing
  • Experience with behavioral interviews and recruiting for both management and line-level positions
  • Strategic, creative, and innovative thinking skills, ability to exercise sound judgment
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively, in both oral and written form
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and management, with high level of professionalism and discretion
  • Ability to project a positive and professional image on behalf of the company
