Our client, a family-owned manufacturers' representative, is looking to add a Controller to their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a leadership role with a proven ability to manage projects and oversee the long-term goals of the company. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team
  • Experience with banking, insurance, benefits, analysis, M&A, and stock plans
  • Oversee HR, Accounting, and IT departments
  • Develop and implement long-term business and financial planning goals
  • Experience with high level tax overview
  • Manage software implementation and ensure it is meeting company needs

Requirements:

  • 2+ years' previous Controller experience preferred
  • Demonstrate strong evidence of working in a financial leadership role
  • Excellent management and supervisory skills
  • Strong decision-making skills and ability to problem solve
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional demeanor
